About This Site

Our Vision for the Atomic Website

This site exists as a service to the Atomic community. It is essentially non-commercial (although it does provide a market place for collectors to buy and sell Atomics and parts) , independent and global. Over the years, we have formed good relationships with other collectors and Atomic aficionados, and the site has gained from the many great people who have been unstintingly generous in sharing their knowledge and experiences.

We aim to be comprehensive, inclusive, authoritative, friendly and helpful. We will always acknowledge the source of any information we publish, if we know where it came from and the source wishes to be acknowledged.

We have conducted the best research we can from sources available, and we will go on doing it. We update the site whenever there is anything new to share, and we supplement the web-based resources with an eBook and a hard-copy book about the Atomic.

We encourage Atomic users, collectors and fans to contribute to the blog and we welcome stories, facts and photos that we can incorporate into the website itself.

The green-bakelite La Sorrentina-badged Atomic has become our icon. It is not unique - there are a few other Atomics around with the same or similar colour schemes - but we think it is kinda cute, so we're sticking with it.
